Twelve ensembles sung at the Christmas Market

The first edition of the Platja d'Aro Choir and Christmas Carol Contest saw the Tutti Veus ensemble (Cassà de la Selva) take the win in the adult category and the choir of the Institut de Sant Feliu de Guíxols triumph in the children and youth category. The Coral Cypsella (Sant Feliu de Guíxols) came in second in the adult category, followed by the Coral de la Vall d'Aro in third place. In the children and youth category, the silver medal went to the choir of the Institut de Sant Elm (Sant Feliu de Guíxols) and the bronze one to the Coral L'Esclop (Cassà de la Selva). The competition presented a total of €1,600 in prizes and was open to non-professional ensembles, which performed during the first edition of the Christmas Market – Gift Fair.
