Tourist office
	The Tourist Office of Platja d'Aro is the main point for information and tourist promotion of the town of Castell – Platja d'Aro i S'Agaró. It is managed by the Department of Trade, Tourism and Economic Development of the Town Hall it functions in co-ordination with the municipal Press and Communications Office.
It offers its services in Catalan, Spanish, French, English, German, Dutch and Italian (depending on the timetable); and attends to an average of 40,000 personal inquiries a year (30,000 in the summer); during more than 3,000 hours of service (Winter: 9:00 – 13:00 and 16:00 –19:00 Summer: 8:00 – 22:00). TOURIST INFORMATION AND PROMOTION Direct attention on tourist inquiries by citizens, visitors and tourists: tourist services, private services, transport, agenda of activities, other matters. Distribution of tourist information materials published by the Tourist Office: maps, informative brochures, lodging guides, services guide, agenda of activities. Distribution of tourist information materials published by private companies: hotels, camping grounds, restaurants, industries... Official merchandising: t-shirts, caps, posters, mugs, pins, bottles of cava, calendars, stickers... Program of participation in promotional tourist fairs in Spain and Europe. Program of summer and winter guided tours.
